The teaching of John Calvin, known as Calvinism, is found in many churches today. It over-states the Bible’s teaching that God is in control and is sovereign. But Calvinism does not place that teaching in proper balance with other Biblical doctrines such as man’s free will. Calvin’s over-emphasis on the truth of God being in control leads us, logically, to many absurd conclusions. These conclusions are error and should not be adhered to. This talk takes a very brief look at the whole topic of Calvinism and explains why it is not consistent with Biblical Christianity.
