In this series of 5 talks, Sean Kehoe deals with some introductory points about what being a Christian means. He also addresses the crucial issue of why it matters, for each and every one of us, to take the Christian message seriously. Being a Christian is not the same thing as being a church goer. There are many people who regularly attend church and yet have no idea what the Christian message is, and they are not committed to Jesus in the way the Bible commands us.

Many people disregard the gospel (the Christian message) because they don’t like what they see of established churches around them. But sadly, so many churches today are unbiblical and preach a false message. It is wrong to reject Jesus simply because we don’t like what we see in established churches.

The Bible is God’s Word and is the source of everything we need to know about God, and His dealings with people. Sean gives an overview of what the Bible is, how it came into being, and why it is utterly trustworthy.
