From “How to become a Christian”: Chapter 11 – Proof that the resurrection really happened
The resurrection of Jesus took the disciples by surprise, but it shouldn’t have done, because He had already told them many times that it would happen. He spoke about it publicly, such that even the unbelievers and officials knew He had said it:
20And He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God.” 21But He warned them and instructed them not to tell this to anyone, 22saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised up on the third day.”

Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.” 65“Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” 66So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.
